The Vienna Philharmonic will be performing for the first time in the Waldbühne in Berlin on May 9, 2024. The open-air concert is led by Italian stardirigent Riccardo Muti and presented by actress Désirée Nosbusch. The ZDF will show excerpts from the concert in a length of 75 minutes on May 12, 2024, while 3sat will radiate the entire concert of 90 minutes on May 25, 2024. The concert's motto is "a European night" and presents a musical journey from Italy to Norway. Riccardo Muti intends to advertise with the concert for peace, harmony, harmony and fraternity in Europe, since in 2024 there is a year in which European elections take place and the European Football European Championship is held in Germany.
