He raced directly to the German embassy in Tirana and broke the wall - a decision that should change the course of Albanian history forever!

When the news of the spectacular breakthrough passed, over 3000 people flocked to the German message, with an insatiable thirst for freedom. But the reaction of the communist regime was brutal: water was turned off, food was scarce, and the chaos was bubbling!

Nine days of the line -up - a difficult but also crucial time. What dreams and fears did people carry with themselves?
