German Pharmacy Day 2025: New appointment for industry and trade fair
A spectacular change is imminent: The German Pharmacist Day (DAT) takes a strong step into the future! From September 16 to September 18, 2025, the important event will take place for the first time from Tuesday to Thursday - an innovation that ensures a fresh air in the entire pharmaceutical industry!
The executive board of the ABDA - Federal Association of German Pharmacist Associations decided. And the best? The well -known pharmaceutical trade fair Expopharm will also be aligned in this exciting period from 2025! The Avoxa, the subsidiary of the ABDA, brings together all important actors in the pharmacy landscape. A real highlight for everyone who works in the industry or are interested in it!
changes for the industry
"We welcome the fact that the Avoxa constantly develops the expopharm to adapt it to the needs of the pharmacists and exhibitors," emphasizes ABDA President Gabriele Regina Overwiening. This fair is becoming more and more an indispensable meeting point! Pharmacy teams network here and find everything you need for your daily work.
The shorter duration from four to three days, paired with the shift to the middle of the week, the fair should make future -oriented. The Avoxa emphasizes: "We want to go into the different needs of the market players." The decision makes it possible to have the DAT and the Expopharm at the same time, which makes participation considerably easier for many delegates and exhibitors and at the same time increases the attractiveness of both events!
don't miss!
And if you think that this move only applies to 2025, you are wrong! This year's German Pharmacy Day will take place in Munich from October 9th to 11th, 2024 and thus forms the opening event for the new era. Exciting times are imminent - mark the data red in the calendar!
