Next Thursday, June 13, 2024, interested parties have the opportunity to take part in a free pedelec training, which is offered by the youth traffic school Charlottenburg in cooperation with the Berlin police (sections 22 and 25). The training is aimed at everyone who wants to learn more about the safety in road traffic with pedelecs. Various danger areas such as speed, distance, "dead angle", reaction times, visibility, protective clothing and theft protection are discussed. The training takes place on the site of the youth traffic school in Loschmidtstraße 6-10 and lasts from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Pedelecs and helmets can be provided, but there is also the possibility to bring your own equipment with you. To take part in the training, registration is required on 0151-29 27 53 20
Especially with regard to the increasing popularity of e-bikes and pedelecs, it is very important to become aware of the safety aspects in road traffic. With free training, participants have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and to feel more secure in dealing with pedelecs.
The Charlottenburg youth transport school makes an important contribution to traffic safety in the region with such initiatives. The partnership with the Berlin police also raises awareness of compliance with traffic rules and promoted cooperation between institutions and citizens.
