Bureaucracy relief Act IV: Too little for medium -sized companies in Berlin

Bureaucracy relief Act IV: Too little for medium -sized companies in Berlin
Berlin, 09/26/2024- The traffic light coalition dared to take a courageous step today with the bureaucracy relief Act IV! But the Euphoria is quickly steamed: instead of a huge jump, the law remains behind the expectations. A quiet outcry from the economy, especially from the central association of the German bakery trade!
General Managing Director Dr. Friedemann Berg does not leave good hair on the new regulations: "The promise of the traffic lights to reduce superfluous bureaucracy has jumped as a tiger and landed as a bed inlet." An appropriate statement that shows how disappointed the industry is! The draft law could only be a hard start, and there is an urgent need for additional measures. The medium -sized economy now needs clear steps to escape from the bureaucratic strangling area!
positive approaches, but a lot of room for improvement
Despite all the criticism, there are some positive approaches in the new law. The possibility of documenting ingredients digitally and concluding employment contracts by email are bright spots. But where are the comprehensive relief that the small and medium -sized entrepreneurs urgently need? "We missed another chance to get noticeable improvements on the way," complains Berg. Ultimately, many concrete suggestions, in particular to reduce documentation obligations, remained on the route.
Berg warns: "For many craft businesses, the bureaucracy has reached a scale that can hardly be mastered. Time is forced!" It is no secret that the exuberant bureaucracy suffocates the entrepreneurial spirit and endangers Germany's business location.
a call to action!
The craft businesses are calling for more: You need noticeable measures that actually reduce the bureaucratic effort and keep them competitive! Dr. Berg emphasizes the urgency: "The coalition has enough time to lace up another bureaucracy relief package."
An urgent appeal: All legislative projects that bring additional burdens, such as the children's food advertising law or the supply chain organization law, must be put on hold. The reputation is loud-Germany urgently needs a break from the bureaucracy capsens in order to promote sustainable de-regulation and not to create more obstacles!
