Two car burglars arrested in Gesundbrunnen: Police strike back!
Last night two suspected car burglars struck in Gesundbrunnen, but were quickly caught! At 12:50 a.m., a woman on Stettiner Strasse noticed the break-in in her parked vehicle and immediately alerted the police. The officers were able to catch and arrest the two suspects, a 29-year-old and a 45-year-old, on Badstrasse. They had burglary tools with them and now have to answer to an investigating judge who will decide on possible arrest warrants.
Interestingly, crime statistics for Berlin show that the number of thefts from vehicles fell by over 15 percent in the first half of 2025 compared to the previous year. A ray of hope in the current security situation in the capital!
