In a terrifying incident in Köpenick, a 13-year-old boy was seriously injured in a traffic accident yesterday morning. Around 11:25 a.m., the teenager tried to cross the Bahnhofstrasse between a tram and a truck with his bike. The 61-year-old truck driver apparently did not notice the boy and rolled over him with his bike.
The boy suffered an arm break and injuries in the pelvic area and had to be hospitalized, where he was treated inpatient. Fortunately, there is no danger to the child.
