Raid against hate postings: nine attempts in Berlin stopped!
In a large -scale action against hate posting, investigators from the State Criminal Police Office Berlin searched a total of nine home addresses in various districts, including Hohenschönhausen, Neukölln and Charlottenburg. The searches that started at 6:55 a.m. are based on a total of separate investigation against eight men and a woman between the ages of 26 and 70. They are suspected of having approved the indicator of unconstitutional organizations and crimes, including sedition.
The results of the investigation are promising: important evidence was found during the searches, including an internet -enabled end device. The evaluation of this evidence and further investigations are still ongoing. These measures are part of a nationwide day of action that is supposed to combat hate crime and expressions on the Internet. The police encourage the public to report suspicious content and give tips on the safe documentation of hate postings in social networks.
