Suspected thief caught red-handed in Kreuzberg and arrested!
In Kreuzberg, the morning ended for a 31-year-old man who was caught allegedly breaking into a car - with handcuffs behind his back! At around 11 a.m., witnesses heard a dangerous clinking sound on the Planufer and became aware of the suspect, who reached into the vehicle through an apparently broken window. When the attentive witnesses spoke to him, the man fled.
But the police left no stone unturned and were able to quickly catch and arrest the crook on Dieffenbachstrasse. During the search, officers found suspected stolen property in the perpetrator's possession. He was taken to a specialist station at Police Department 5 (City). The investigation is still ongoing!
