Man falls into Teltow Canal: the police investigated after a fatal incident

Britzer Brücke, 12053 Berlin, Deutschland - the police and fire brigade forces were in action last night when a 62-year-old man fell into the Teltow Canal around 9:30 p.m. and went down. Witnesses noticed the incident on the Britzer Brücke and immediately alerted the rescue workers. This managed to save the man and to take him to a hospital under resuscitation. Unfortunately he died there later.

The investigation was taken over by the 4th Murder Commission of the State Criminal Police Office Berlin and the Berlin public prosecutor, since a third -party fault cannot be excluded. The circumstances of the tragic incident remain unclear, and the authorities are working intensively to bring light into the dark.
