last night there was brutal assault in the Anita Berber Park in Neukölln. Two men, 24 and 29 years old, were insulted homophobic when they went for a walk there around 9:15 p.m. A four-member unknown group attacked her, turned after the insulting remark and threatened the 24-year-old with a stick. In a dramatic turning point, one of the attackers specifically threw the stick towards a random witness to help - a direct hit on the woman's ankle!
But that was not all: another perpetrator hit the 24-year-old in the face before the group fled towards Tempelhofer Feld. Both the 24-year-old and the crashed witness suffered hematomas, but initially refrained from helping medical help. The investigation is now in the hands of the police protection of the State Criminal Police Office.
