Chemical alarm in Reinickendorf: Evacuation after dangerous experiment!

In the night of yesterday, a resident of an apartment building in Reinickendorf alerted the police and fire brigade because of a threatening chemical smell. A 26-year-old had experimented with various chemicals in his apartment on a Büchensweg, which called on the plan at 11:30 p.m.

The fire brigade discovered several chemical containers and evacuated the entire house. Fortunately, it was not an explosive fabrics. Nevertheless, a 27-year-old neighbor had to be taken to the hospital with a respiratory tract irritation. The remaining residents were able to go back to their apartments after the danger. A specialist commissioner of Police Directorate 1 (north) started the investigation.
