The film industry is on the crossroads! Employees in the creative scene complain about a pitiful work environment. Unsafe jobs, irregular income and lousy fees - the pressure on the employees is getting bigger! In recent years, the rebellion against these grievances has become louder. After the shattering strike in the US film industry, it is high time that there is also a rethink in this country!
But what is done to change this scandalous state? How can existing organizations work together effectively to enforce better working conditions? These questions are the focus of the conference "Working conditions in the film industry", which will take place on October 25 and 26, 2024 in the Evangelical Education Center Hospitalhof Stuttgart.

It is much more than just decent remuneration. The discussion is about a healthy work-life balance and the necessary change in the industry! Representatives from film and media are invited to talk about innovative approaches and projects that promote socially acceptable "filming".
"We have to effectively represent our own interests!" Said a desperate rapporteur. Many committed actors in the industry, including Fritzie Benesch, the film pioneer from Berlin, and Astrid Beyer, take part, the passionate moderator of AG DOK.
