The mobile phone supply in the Elbe-Elster district has experienced a spectacular upgrade! In just two months, Telekom has equipped another location with LTE and is now ensuring an even better network. Thanks to this expansion, citizens not only enjoy improved coverage, but also a faster bandwidth that ensures future -proof communication!
The new radio mast is in the municipality of Rückersdorf and plays a crucial role in the digital infrastructure. But that's not all: this location also improves the reception along the important Brandenburg-Süd railway line. Another sign that Telekom meets digital change with high pressure!

"The need for bandwidth is constantly increasing - around 30 percent per year. That is why we continue to pace in mobile phone expansion" - says company spokesman Georg von Wagner. Telekom is currently operating 54 locations in the district, which ensure impressive budget coverage of around 98 percent. And it comes even better: another 43 locations are planned by 2026! These ambitions show that Telekom sets the course for a digital future.
In addition, there are extensions with LTE or even 5G on different radio masts in the pipeline. But teamwork is required here: Telekom relies on the valuable cooperation with municipalities and owners in order to find new areas for the expansion.
