Berlin, Deutschland - On June 24, 2025, the 1st FC Union Berlin announced the commitment of the 19-year-old wing player Livan Burcu Burcu comes after a remarkable loan at the 1st FC Magdeburg, where he impressed with three goals and seven templates. Livan Burcu began his career in the youth of FSV Frankfurt before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2014. He went through various youth teams and debut in the U17 Bundesliga in 2020, where he scored his first goal. After switching to Turkey in January 2021 to Beşiktaş Istanbul, he came back to Germany in July 2022 and joined SV Sandhausen. There he experienced a quick climb and scored impressive 21 goals in 26 games in the A-Junior Oberliga Baden-Württemberg.

After he was firmly included in the Sandhausen professional squad in the 2023/24 season, Burcu gave his professional debut on the first matchday of the 3rd division against VfB Lübeck. This season he quickly developed into a reliable goal machine, was referred to as the discovery of the season and scored a total of 13 goals in 28 games. On March 22, 2024, he made his debut against Georgia for the Turkish U21 national team and scored a penalty in his first game.
