U9 in Berlin until the beginning of September - information on the schedule and replacement traffic

Berlin: U9 still interrupted by the beginning of September
The line U9 of the Berlin subway is still closed on both sides until September 7th. The reason for this is track construction work, as the BVG (Berlin Verkehrsbetriebe) announced on Twitter. However, there is replacement traffic by bus between the Berliner Strasse and Walther-Schreiber-Platz stations. For the route between Walther-Schreiber-Platz and Rathaus Steglitz, it is recommended to avoid the buses M48, M82, M85, 186, 285 and N88.

The interruption only applies from Sunday to Thursday and begins at 10:30 p.m. until the end of the company. The interruption is active all day on weekends (Friday and Saturday).

BVG uses the summer vacation in Berlin and Brandenburg for extensive renovation work. This time in which many Berlin and Brandenburgers are traveled is used to carry out the construction work as smoothly as possible. The school only begins again on August 28, so that rush hour traffic is not yet fully started again.

The subway lines in Berlin are an important part of local public transport and are particularly frequented in peak times. The BVG continuously works to modernize the infrastructure and ensure that the lines run smoothly. This reliably brought passengers to their goal, even if there are interruptions in exceptional cases.

The passengers are asked to consider the reports of the BVG and the information on site. The replacement traffic by bus is signposted accordingly.
