Turkish dinamo packaging acquires insolvent GPD Foodpackaging GmbH & Co. KG and plans new ways in the printing industry
Another asset deal strengthens the printing industry
The M&A experts from the Mittelstandsberatung Enomyc have again recorded a successful transaction degree in the printing industry. This time the insolvent GPD Foodpackaging GmbH & Co. KG from Rinteln was taken over by the Turkish Dinamo Packaging. Dinamo GPD has acquired an asset deal and is currently in negotiations with the landlord for a new rental agreement at the Rinteln location. The goal is to continue the operation of the GPD there.
In the spring of this year, the insolvency proceedings for GPD Foodpackaging GmbH & Co. KG opened. The lawyer Martin Schmidt was appointed the provisional insolvency administrator by the Andres & Partner law firm. Schmidt then commissioned Enomyc with the search for a suitable investor.
dinamo packaging is one of the innovation carriers in the packaging industry and specializes in the production of packaging and labeling materials. The company produces 25,000,000 square meters of printed materials annually, including self -adhesive labels and cardboard boxes. Dinamo's printing capacities of the GPD are to be used, among other things, for the packaging of its customers from the food sector. Dinamo also plans to open up new business opportunities. "With Dinamo Packaging, the GPD has a partner who will help her to open up new customer groups and to bring their innovation potential to their own," explains Dr. Tim Bauer, responsible partner for the project at Enomyc.
Another advantage of the GPD is its innovative and particularly environmentally friendly printing technology for roll offset prints of full cardboard food packaging. With the highly efficient Manroland Goss Varioman C: Line, the company has a technology that is unique in Germany. "Sustainability requirements also play an increasingly important role in the food sector," emphasizes Andrej Kirschke, Director at Enomyc. "We are therefore confident that the company will have good market opportunities under the new ownership." In addition to the modern rotary printing machines, Dinamo Packaging also takes over the 8,300 square meter production and storage space with the associated office complex in Rinteln from the GPD. The employees should also be continued.
The latest asset deal is already the third -party transaction in the printing area within the last twelve months after the successful transactions of GD Gotha printing and packaging as well as printing partners.
