A special festival is just around the corner! The choir community "Pro Musica" Treptow celebrates its 50th anniversary with breathtaking anniversary concerts in the middle of the festive pre-Christmas season. The countdown is running: On November 30th and December 1, 2024, the Treptow town hall opens its doors for moving musical performances that will enchant both old and young!
Marco Brauchmann, the district councilor for further training, school, culture and sport, emphasizes how important this anniversary is: "Fifty years and not a bit quiet! The anniversary year shows that the choir community remains cheerful and active." And that's not just chatter - the "Pro Musica" has already reached great musical milestones this year! In January, they inspired more than 800 visitors in the renowned chamber music hall of the Berlin Philharmonic together with the youth choir and the "Jazzvocals". The fans clapped enthusiastically for their first Sunday concert of the season - what a mood!

Well, matching the first weekend in Advent, the exciting concert "Gold’ne Fifty! Jubilee in Advent" will be the crowning glory of the festival year! Visitors can look forward to a colorful program that celebrates both the roots of the choir community and the modern musical handwriting of the current director Christian Höffling. Whether Advent or Christmas - there is something for everyone here! Singalben will be the audience with the popular sing-along songs, and topics such as peace and the cycle of life will not be neglected.
The performances promise an emotional experience, in which some surprises are waiting for the choir members. Who knows what exactly is hidden in the choir's festive package? And for the first time the new pianist Kazuhiro Shigematsu will accompany the singers - an additional highlight that raises the performances to a whole new level!
