The partner cities Treptow-Köpenick and Eskişehir-Teepebaşı won first place in the project competition of the German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce "Urban Sustainability and Climate Protection" last year. The partnership between Treptow-Köpenick and Eskişehir-Teepebaş in Turkey has a long history that goes back to the 1990s.
