Winter is just around the corner and that means for parents with small children: finally there is a solution for the dreary, cold Sundays! In Tempelhof-Schöneberg, children's laughter will find a home again. From November 3, 2024, three winter playgrounds open their doors and invite you to work out. This is the best news in this gray season!

Youth and health city council Oliver Schworck has launched a fantastic range of movements for the little ones. The Neumark primary school in the north of Schöneberg, the Marienfeld primary school and the sports hall of the temple men primary school in Tempelhof are the three hotspots, where winter becomes a game paradise. Here children between the ages of 1 and 6 can let off steam without prior notice, and that free of charge! A real bargain, because the sporting entertainment for the little ones is led by competent trainers of the district sports association.

Every Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the halls are ready for all active families. Visitors can look forward to different movement courses that change weekly. And best of all: the duty of supervision remains with the parents. A really great concept that is not only fun, but also strengthens the bond between parents and children.

Oliver Schworck gets it in a nutshell: "Children want to move, whether it is snowing or storming outside. In the wet -cold season, playgrounds are hardly attractive. I am therefore very pleased that we families with small children can make a weather -independent offer to play and romp this winter, which is accompanied by sports pedagogy." A commitment that inspires generations!

The winter playgrounds are open until December 15, 2024. But that's not all: an expansion of the offer from January 12, 2025 would be planned, but it is still in the floating due to the budget situation. So, parents and children, strapped on! The winter months become a highlight that you cannot miss!
