Nutritional turn: Discussion and approaches to the 20th RegioTalk
The regional incubator Berlin Südwest (RIK) organizes its 20th Regiotalk on February 22nd at 6.30 p.m. in the Dahlem domain. The focus of the evening is on the subject of "nutritional change - why we have to change our food consumption".
The nutritional turnaround is an increasingly present topic that strongly influences today's society and the economy. In Central Europe, over -consumption and food waste dominates, while over 700 million people worldwide are malnourished. The effects of over -consumption of highly processed industrial food lead to health problems such as obesity and diabetes. In addition, the nutritional industry burdens the climate through the production and transport of food.
The diet aims to make the production of food ecologically and socially sustainable, reduce the waste of food and to optimize the worldwide distribution.
On the 20th Regiotalk of Rik Berlin Südwest, various experts will talk about the development of the nutritional transition in Germany, Europe and worldwide. Everyone is cordially invited to this free event, with prior registration is desirable. Further information on the course of the Regiotalk and other events of the Rik Berlin Südwest can be found on the Rik homepage.
