Change of the development plan in Lichterfelde: scope reduced

The district office Steglitz-Zehlendorf of Berlin has announced a change in the decision on the drawing up of a development plan, which concerns the scope of the development plan 6-8 in the Lichterfelde district. The change affects the land Hochstraße 1 - 24 and Hildburghauser Straße 222/240 and leads to a reduction in the scope around the land lying along the high road - with the exception of the area of the former Hochstraße 12.

After the change, the scope of the development plan 6-8 will in future include the land Hildburghauser Straße 224/234 C and 238/240 as well as Hochstraße 12-12 b in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district, district of Lichterfelde.

This change may have an impact on the development and use of the affected land as well as on the surrounding infrastructure in the Lichterfelde district. The reduction in the scope of the development plan could affect planned construction measures, the zoning of the area and potential construction projects.

Historically, Lichterfelde could look back on a rich past that goes back to the 13th century. The district was once known for its villa colony, which was created at the end of the 19th century and is considered an example of the villa architecture of that time. Today Lichterfelde is a popular place of residence in Berlin, which is shaped by a mixture of historical buildings and modern residential complexes.

The following table offers an overview of the affected properties and their new assignment within the scope of the development plan 6-8:

| Old | NEW |
| —- | –– |
| Hochstraße 1 - 24 and Hildburghauser Straße 222/240 | Hildburghauser Straße 224/234 C and 238/240 as well as Hochstraße 12 - 12 B |

This change in the development plan 6-8 in the district of Lichterfelde brings with it a restructuring and new assignment of land that could have a potentially influence on future construction projects and the development of the residential area.
