Strong voices for equality: Review of the Female Future Force Day
power women in the spotlight! The Female Future Force Day 2024 in Berlin was an explosion of inspiration and commitment! Over 1,000 participants flocked to the capital - the atmosphere was sparkling, the messages were clear! Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock provided an impressive appearance with her courageous statements about the Female Empowerment and the fight for a free society. Standing ovation for the strong woman!
"We can be grateful that women have fought things in front of us. They don't fall from heaven!" Baerbock called the audience and set a powerful sign! Together with Funke publisher Julia Becker, the spirit of optimism was literally felt in the room. With so many well -known speakers such as the Vice President of the European Parliament, Katarina Barley, and moderator Sarah Kuttner, the event simply had to go through the ceiling!
Buildbridges for a fairer future
"Let us build bridges together where trenches separate us", Barbara Brehm, managing director of Funke Lifestyle, opened the event. "Bridge the Gap" was the motto of the day - and it was more than fitting. The panel discussions left no question about equality and social justice unanswered!
The sociologist Prof. Dr. H.C. Jutta Allmendinger grabbed the pressing topics: "These topics we are talking about today have been on the table for so long and we don't have time." It was about concern, the division of responsibility and the challenges that women face. Your statement was clear announcement!
Baerbock and Becker dipped deeply into the topic of feminist foreign policy. "We [women] can make a different kind of politics," explained Baerbock and observed the global racist and xenophobic currents that further put women under leadership positions. "There are an infinite number of things that you still have to change. But at least this movement is no longer to be stopped," emphasized Becker. A message that arrives!
society in focus
Another central topic was the drifting apart of society. Katarina Barley and Gilda Saebi illuminated the political trenches, social differences and the role of East and West in the discussion "Bridge the Gap: How we bridge". "Our strongest feeling that we humans have is fear," warned Barley, warning to attract attention to the rise of rights.
But not only politics was an issue! A discussion about the role of sport in the fight against discrimination also produced the emotions. Former soccer coach Steffi Jones and Olympic champion Kristina Vogel spoke about the power of cohesion. "Together we can also change something. It is a process that will never go away," summed up Jones with an impressive grade of optimism.
The Female Future Force Day 2024 not only brought strong women to the fore - it was an urgent call to everyone, to work for equality and justice.
