State security is investigating after a risen banner and homophobic attacks at the Berlin CSD
The police have started investigations after a transparent in Berlin Christopher Street Day (CSD) was attached to the railing of the building complex at the Berlin television tower. Five people from a group of 15 people should be responsible for the banner. It wore the lettering "Homo = folk death" and the number "III", which could indicate the right -wing extremist small party. An employee of a restaurant removed the banner and handed it over to the police. The alleged perpetrators could escape undetected. In the evening, four people were persecuted from the group and thrown at glass bottles when they fled into a restaurant. The pursuers could escape. The persecutors were released after their personal details. The state security has taken over an investigation into sedition and severe breach of the peace.
In addition, the state security has also initiated investigations into homophobic attacks. Two women aged 23 and 34 and a 19-year-old trans woman were insulted in Alt-Hohenschönhausen homophobic. The three people were previously seen at the CSD and imitated and stared at by a group of young people. The young people persecuted the three, insulted them and spat on the two women in the face. The suspects fled before the police arrived.
In addition, a 30-year-old man in Berlin-Schöneberg was attacked by a stranger who had previously made homophobic statements in the subway. The perpetrator prevented the man from getting out, grabbed it on his neck and tore his T-shirt. Passers-by intervened and the attacker let off the 30-year-old. The incident was reported to the police via the internet station and here too the state security has taken over the investigation.
