Die Bauarbeiten an der Schönwalder Straße sind erfolgreich abgeschlossen und die Straße steht dem Verkehr nun wieder zur Verfügung. Baustadtrat Thorsten Schatz informiert, dass im Zuge der Maßnahme des Straßen- und Grünflächenamtes auf einer Strecke von 140 Metern insgesamt 1.600 Quadratmeter Fahrbahn erneuert wurden. Dadurch konnte eine drohende Vollsperrung vermieden werden. Die neue Fahrbahn zwischen Neuendorfer Straße und Bismarckplatz/ Müllerstraße gewährleistet nun die notwendige Verkehrssicherheit. Die Berliner Wasserbetriebe mussten im Rahmen der Baumaßnahme zusätzliche Arbeiten an ihrem Leitungsnetz durchführen, was zu einer Verzögerung führte.
