comparison to other libraries
The commitment of the district central library in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg is supplemented by the programs of other cities. For example, the Frankfurt city library offers a wide range of media such as books, magazines, comics, and games for children and adolescents up to 18 years free of charge. In the central children's and youth library, the Kibi, weekly actions such as the Technothek are organized, which takes place on Fridays and researches the children in creative and technical projects. Such offers promote reading culture and the interest in new media and technologies of younger generations. Further information about the Frankfurt city library is available on its website.
