Solidarity with Israel: New network promotes help and peace
A shocking year has passed since Hamas called for a devastating attack on Israel on October 7, 2023! The wounds of these terrible deeds have not healed, and civil society in Israel faces enormous challenges. Whether terrorist or traumatized internal evacuated - the need is still great!
But in this dark time a light of hope shines: six significant organizations from Germany have come together and founded the Netzen Israel (www.netzwerk-israel.de) . This initiative is not only a sign of solidarity, but also a call to support democratic actors in Israel!

The founders of the network include Aktion Sühnenschen Friedensdienst e.V., Alfred Landecker Foundation, AMCHA Deutschland e.V., New Israel Fund Deutschland e.V., the German-Israeli Future Forum Foundation and the Foundation Memory, responsibility and future (EVZ) . Together they appear for a peaceful coexistence of Jewish and Arabic communities in Israel and support surviving families of Shoah victims!
Dr. Andrea Despot, CEO of the EVZ Foundation, explains: "The anniversary on October 7th is a moment of reflection and memory of the victims of these terrible deeds. At the same time, he calls us responsible to strive for a sustainable solution to the conflict in the region!" Such a solution could pave the way for peace and stability!

The network acts as a link between German supporters and the projects in Israel, who urgently need help. This important work is supplemented by other organizations such as the Federal Working Group Church and Right-Wing Extremism and the Amadeu Antonio Foundation!
Imagine: Every donated euro flows 100 percent into the projects that alleviate emergency disorders in the country! These include psychosocial support offers for Shoah survivors and the urgent help for a Jewish-Arab emergency aid center in Rahat!
