The police section 12 worked closely together with the central point to combat undeclared work in the state of Berlin. In the context of the operation, three companies were closed because they did not meet the requirements for the operation of a trade. There were 26 missions with the police, and in 18 cases, search resolutions had to be enforced based on displays of the Berlin Chamber of Crafts.

Basics of the Black Working Act

The Black Working Act was put into force on August 1, 2004 and clearly defines the framework conditions under which undeclared work takes place. This includes the provision of services without the necessary reports to social security, the failure of tax obligations and the lack of display of the beginning of a trade. The Pankow district has taken over the responsibility for the persecution of administrative offenses under this law since November 19, 2020.
