In Treptow-Köpenick, 247 students received no place at their desired school, while 104 young people are without any school. Despite the fact that 1,962 school places are available in the district, 337 children from other districts are also admitted. The education system is faced with massive challenges, and the red-green-red coalition has already decided 200 million euros for a school building offensive to improve the situation in the long term.
