Roedernallee, 13437 Berlin, Deutschland - On June 25, 2025, Gesobau celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the newly created district of Alt-Wittenau in Berlin. The project is intended to make an important contribution to creating affordable living space for young people. A total of 105 apartments and 242 living spaces that will be available for students and trainees are planned.

The range of housing includes both compact 1-room apartments and shared apartments for two to four people. In addition, common rooms are planned that invite you to learn, gamen and get together. Household rooms are available for practical washes for practical concerns.

commercial units and local supply

On the ground floor of the new building, several commercial units for local supply will be created. These include food and drugstores that enable the residents of the neighborhood to easily access important goods of daily needs. In addition, the courtyard is designed as a green stay with seating and table tennis slabs, which should contribute to a high quality of life.

The nearby Wittenau S-Bahn station also ensures an optimal connection to the city center. Christian Gaebler, Senator for Urban Development, and Emine Demirbüken-Wegner, district mayor of Reinickendorf, estimated the importance of the project for the future living space situation in Berlin.

production and rental conditions

The completion of the neighborhood is planned for the summer of 2026. The rent per living space will start from 380 euros per month, so that the project should be attractive for many young Berliners. Interested parties can already register on the project website to get more information.
