Roedernallee, 13437 Berlin, Deutschland - On June 25, 2025, Gesobau celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the newly created district of Alt-Wittenau in Berlin. The project is intended to make an important contribution to creating affordable living space for young people. A total of 105 apartments and 242 living spaces that will be available for students and trainees are planned.

The range of housing includes both compact 1-room apartments and shared apartments for two to four people. All units are equipped with their own bathrooms and cooking opportunities, which should offer future residents a high level of living comfort. In addition, common rooms are planned that invite you to learn, gamen and get together. Household rooms are available for practical washes for practical concerns.

On the ground floor of the new building, several commercial units for local supply will be created. Christian Gaebler, Senator for Urban Development, and Emine Demirbüken-Wegner, district mayor of Reinickendorf, estimated the importance of the project for the future living space situation in Berlin.
