Desired tree campaign in Reinickendorf: Children smile when we help
Christmas is just around the corner and the hearts of Reinickendorfer beat higher! On November 25th, the fox district of the Schneider stars will be switched on in the town hall-the desired tree campaign 2024 starts! Once again, the small wishes of our children are transformed into bright stars that are waiting to be fulfilled. These bright messages, handmade wish list of small dream catchers, can be admired in the town hall foyer until December 13th.
"We are thrilled to be part of this incredible initiative again this year! I hope that many Reinickendorfer open their hearts and conjure up a smile as many children as possible," enthuses the district mayor. The children do not have to go hungry this year-250 bright star desires are waiting for their fulfillment!
This is how the desired construction action
worksIt is very simple: the gift sponsors take a wish from a leash anonymously, as if it were a normal day in the park! Each gift may cost a maximum of 25 euros. In order to protect the anonymity of the small recipients, they are only described in the stars with first names and age. A clever plan that enables everyone to show their generosity without exposing the children!
The unpacked gifts can then be handed over to the gates until December 13th in the Reinickendorf town hall (at the main entrance of the new building). A little step for the gift sponsors, a huge step for the happy children!
a ray of hope for Berlin families
"The situation for Berlin families has become increasingly challenging in recent years. It is all the more remarkable that this year even more citizens are committed to our campaign to help families for Christmas," explains Fayez Gilke, chairman of the association. Thanks to the great commitment of the Berliners, an incredible 7,000 children will be given a light of happiness this year!
The desired tree campaign is not just an opportunity to donate gifts, but a real sign of community and solidarity in these challenging times. Take part and show that there is a Christmas angel in each of us!
