In the Reinickendorf district, the “Reinickendorfer training buddy 2024” will be called back in order to appreciate companies that are committed to training young people. This initiative, organized together with the Reinickendorf district office, has the goal of rewarding companies, offering a wide range of training opportunities and breaking new ground in the training area.

District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner emphasizes the importance of training young people and the influence of a high-quality labor market. She explains that the competition recognizes companies that meet these quality standards and go beyond. The cooperation between schools and business offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience in companies and to find their professional path.

Companies based in Reinickendorf and at least five workers can apply. An independent jury is awarded three prizes to small, medium and large companies. The application deadline for companies in the district is September 25, 2024. The award ceremony will take place on October 16, 2024.

Interested companies can request application sheets to the district's business development agency, either by phone or by email.
