Raumwelten exhibition from May 15th in Rathaus-Galerie Reinickendorf
From May 15, 2024, visitors can experience the exhibition "Raumwelten" in the Rathaus-Galerie Reinickendorf. Eight contemporary artistic positions are presented, which deal with various concepts of space and focus on the impressive architecture of the building. Raumwelten exhibition from May 15th in Rathaus-Galerie Reinickendorf
From May 15, 2024, visitors can experience the exhibition "Raumwelten" in the Rathaus-Galerie Reinickendorf. Eight contemporary artistic positions are presented, which deal with various concepts of space and focus on the impressive architecture of the building. Cultural city councilor Harald Muschner (CDU) explains that the connecting element of the work is the architecture, be it as a formative element of urban space, the basis for constructive compositions or expression of social conditions.
The artists show different perspectives on space and architecture: Alexandra Schlund deals with the presentability and dissolution of the three -dimensional space in her paintings, Antje Taubert creates constructive space structure from geometric shapes that seem to step out of the image space. Juliane Duda sees the landscape and architecture as socially and politically charged places, while Thomas Ravens researches the influence of the changing urban area.
The exhibition also offers works by Anna-Maria Kursawe, Benedikt Terwiel, Jean-Baptiste Monnin and Elgin Willigerodt, who each interpret the space and architecture in their own way. The vernissage will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., the exhibition will run until September 6, 2024. Entry is free and the opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Rathaus-Galerie Reinickendorf thus offers a diverse and exciting selection of contemporary art, which invites visitors to look at space and architecture from new perspectives.
