Volunteering prices Reinickendorf: Awards for outstanding commitment

commitment at the center - Reinickendorf honors volunteers with prices

In the Reinickendorf district, the voluntary commitment is particularly recognized this season. For the second time, the Reinickendorfer volunteer prices will be awarded to honor all those people who work tirelessly for the well -being of their fellow human beings. This initiative aims to raise awareness of the importance of volunteering in the community and to make active members of society visible.

The award takes place in three categories, especially senior citizens' work, youth work and a changing focus. This year, the focus is on the motto "of people for people - from the middle of society", the community aspect of engagement. This focus shows how important it is that the community comes together to support each other.

The district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) emphasizes how crucial the commitment of the citizens for the district is: “It is the people who work with heart and hand for others who are alive to our district. With the volunteer prices we would like to offer a forum that create a significant difference in our society every day.” These words underline the appreciation that is shown to the volunteers.

From now on, suggestions for prices can be submitted to the district office by October 10th. Nominations are open to both individuals and groups that are active in non -profit associations, cultural organizations or social institutions within Reinickendorf. It is important that each nomination can only be submitted in one of the three categories.

The submissions must contain a brief description of the nomineed person or group as well as a representation of the project or engagement, whereby both texts should not be more than 300 words. In order to present the nominees comprehensively, documents such as photos or videos can also be attached. An independent jury will check the submitted proposals and announced the award winners. The award ceremony will take place on December 18th.

In order to learn more about the Reinickendorfer volunteer award or to submit suggestions, various contact options are available, both by post and by email. It is recommended to visit the website of the district to obtain detailed information.
