Raid against right -wing terrorist group: plans for the overthrow in Brandenburg exposed!

Stahnsdorf, Deutschland - On June 18, 2025, investigations against the rights “Empire Group” were visibly loud in Brandenburg. The police searched three residential properties in Stahnsdorf, Spremberg and Königs Wusterhausen last Wednesday. Around 60 emergency services were involved in the searches. The suspicion is to support a terrorist association that pursues violent overthrow plans, and among those affected are three men aged 64, 59 and 46 years. In particular, the 64-year-old is said to have known about the oversetting plans since March 2022 and even prepared attack on signals from Deutsche Bahn in May 2022.

The other two men are also suspected of having been aware of the preparations of violent acts. During the searches, air pressure rifles and other evidence were ensured, the evaluation of which is now the focus of the investigation. Earlier judgments against members of the "Empire Group" have already resulted in several years of prison; The group is criticized because planned explosive attacks should paralyze the power supply in Germany. In addition, the Federal Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach (SPD) was considered a desired kidnapping goal. The investigation ran over several months and had already led to house searches in Berlin in March 2023.

The "United Patriots" and their plans

In the context of these investigations, the various grouping of the "United Patriots", which is also associated with overthrowing plans and attacks. According to the Koblenz Higher Regional Court, the group was classified as a terrorist association in accordance with Section 129a of the Criminal Code. Its members planned to install an empire and kidnap Karl Lauterbach from a talk show. Judges that were announced on March 6, 2025 punished several ringleaders with several years of prison. Among them were men aged 46 to 58 and a 77-year-old woman.

The group also had absurd plans to make an actor to perform as President or Chancellor in order to announce the discontinuation of the Federal Government. A hidden investigator played a key role in the arrests by offering weapons for sale. The trial concluded 106 trial days and the testimony of 38 witnesses, including experts from various authorities.

right -wing extremism in Germany in the upward trend

The context of these investigations is accompanied by the alarming numbers on right -wing extremism in Germany. The number of violent right -wing extremists is currently around 15,300 people and has increased compared to previous years. In 2024, the protection of the constitution recorded a total of 50,250 right -wing extremist persons, an increase of 9,650 compared to the previous year. 37,835 right -wing extremist crimes were registered, which corresponds to a dramatic increase of 47.4 %.

The increase in right -wing extremist acts of violence, which increased by 11.6 %, is particularly striking. At the same time, the right -wing extremist demonstrations with 360 meetings in 2024 remained on a similar level as in the previous year. Topics such as asylum, migration and anti -queer positions are still central points of the right -wing extremist agitation, but underline the urgency of the political and social examination of these phenomena.
