Police holds alleged burglars after theft in Friedrichshainer Hotel
The police arrested two men on Tuesday, who are said to have broken into a hotel in Andreasstrasse in Friedrichshain at night. According to the investigation, the 21-year-old is said to have stolen various valuables of hotel guests, including several mobile phones.
The police said that the two perpetrators are said to have gained access to various hotel rooms in a not yet clarified manner. In the course of the investigation, one of the stolen mobile phones could be located, which led to the identification of the alleged perpetrators.
The suspects were arrested on Monday morning in a hotel on Nollendorfplatz. The police discovered various valuables in the hotel rooms used by the men, which probably represent the stolen thief. These included backpacks, bags, suitcases, money, credit cards, sunglasses and other mobile phones.
After the police investigations, the 19-year-old was released, while the investigation against the 21-year-old suspect continues to continue.
