In the exciting world of plasma donation, we experience a real miracle of solidarity! From October 7th to 11th, 2024, the 12th International Week of the Plasma donation will be celebrated, with an impressive goal: ten heroes of everyday life, each of which has done over 1,000 donations, are in the spotlight. These committed donors impressively demonstrate how strongly the band between man and humans are forged by plasma!

This week is not only a festival of gratitude, but also a lasting memory of how valuable every single donation is! The blood plas masonry lives in the donation centers of Haema save and enable the production of indispensable medication for people with serious and chronic diseases. It's not just plasma - it is a lifesaver!

a strong commitment to life

With the moving motto "Plasma connects us", the immeasurable meaning of the donors and the treated patients are brought into focus. These really impressive personalities from all over Germany represent the heart of the donation campaigns. From Chemnitz to Berlin, from Ingolstadt to the Dresden donation centers - each of these faces tells a story of premonition and hope.

An outstanding example is Detlef, who recently got involved in the Chemnitz donation center. And also Anja, who developed a special connection to her treating doctor Ammar, who came from Syria as a refugee and works in the donation center in Chemnitz. Anja's commitment is more than just altruistic - it becomes a family bond that spans generations!

A donation - the key to hopeful quality of life! Behind each of these donors is a story of dedication: Ralf, who provides tirelessly to save human lives. His motto: "I do something good!" Michael, who was motivated by his cousin's leukemia experience, also helps to give others the opportunity to get healthy.

The personality behind the donation

Did you know that there is an atmosphere of friendship and familiarity in Haema's donation centers? Ute, an experienced operator from Ingolstadt, aptly says: "It is almost like family here." And that is exactly what the employees and donors bring together. They know each other, they share life stories and support each other through the ups and downs of life.

Behind all the warm interactions is the knowledge of the employees how crucial plasma is for the development of vital therapies. Their commitment, friendliness and professionalism ensure that the donors like to come and stay. And also: a lack of planning is not an issue, because donors can easily reserve your next appointment via the Myhaema app!

A small effort-a big effect! Every single plasma donor contributes to saving life, be it a drop or a thousand! The collected donations go directly to Grifols, a leading healthcare company that uses this raw materials to produce life-saving medication. Throughout Europe and worldwide, Haema with its 40 donation centers and Grifols do an excellent work to produce plasma products.
