Honor for the fire brigade: 30 comrades in Groß Pankow excellent!

In the village community center Baek, a glamorous festival was celebrated on Friday! Around 30 brave fire comrades from the Groß Pankow community were honored for their loyal services with medals. Among the guests of honor were the district fire chief Christian Reisinger and the mayor Marco Radloff, who praised the outstanding achievements of the firefighters: "The comrades once again mastered fire protection and their tasks this year!" A big thank you to the heroes in uniform!

Strong community in the fire brigade

The municipality of Groß Pankow, which consists of 39 locations, can be proud of its 14 weirs with around 270 active comrades! Pedro Korup, deputy military leader, also reported 11 youth fire brigades with 120 young fire brigade candidates. "The B 189 is a busy federal road, and we also had missions after traffic accidents this year," said Korup. The fire brigade is not only a protective shield, but also an important part of the community!

The honor of the long-standing members, which were awarded for 10 to 60 years of loyal service, was particularly impressive. There was also a change in the leadership: the old military leader of Klein Gottschev was adopted and his successor was ceremoniously appointed. After the medal award, a delicious menu was served, followed by lively conversations that underlined the strong sense of community of the fire brigade comrades.
