Emergency supply in upheaval: AOK demands holistic reforms in Berlin
Dr. Carola Reimann, the head of the AOK federal association, raises the alarm! On the occasion of the first reading of the law on reforming emergency care in the Bundestag becomes clear: It is now time to think of emergency care with the large hospital reform and the emergency services! This is not a time to let it up, but a moment that can bring the shine into the outdated structures!
The federal government has finally woken up and recognizes the urgency behind the reforms. Reimann explains: "It is crucial that emergency care is being revised!" This reform is not just a question of efficiency, but a question of humanity! Citizens are increasingly facing closed doors in emergencies or finding access to the right health services. The vulnerabilities in the supply must now be removed once!
fight against bureaucracy!
With the emergency reform, a completely new supply network for acute and emergencies is to be created: control centers, integrated emergency centers and a reliable acute care should work hand in hand. The vision? A clear, structured access for all patients! But stop: the impending obstacles should not be underestimated. Because, as Reimann warns, we must not be stopped by unnecessary bureaucratic hurdles!
Well, the challenge is enormous! The feared overhang of changes in the medical practices could lead to the urgently needed medical resources no longer available. Current laws, such as the Health Heart Act, seem to produce more chaos than improvements! The decision -makers in Berlin now urgently need to put together and set clear priorities!
emergency services in the reform!
However, a concern remains in the shade: the emergency services! Here there is no effective integration into the reform project. Reimann makes it clear: "The emergency reform is just the first step!" There must be a holistic renovation that sees outpatient emergency care and a strongly established emergency services as an equivalent partner. The situation is more than explosive! The ambulance service urgently needs extended skills and resources to ensure that the case is closed on site.
What are the consequences? A noticeable relief for the overloaded staff in the emergency services and the emergency room is necessary! Because only if all the puzzle pieces play together perfectly can the emergency care become what it should be: a reliable system in which every doctor and every patient counts!
Berlin is at the turning point! Now it is important to take advantage of opportunities and to tackle the reforms!
