Awards ceremony: Neuköllner Art Prize 2024
On Friday, February 16, 2024, the ceremonial award ceremony of the Neuköllner Kunst Award will take place in the home port of Neukölln. The nominees for the price are Veneta Androva, Johanna Brummack, Christian Diaz Orejarena, Marta Djourina, Ceren Saner, Sophia Uckmann and Constanze Vogt. The exhibition with the nominees will open in the gallery in the hall building on February 16, 2024 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Neuköllner Kunst Prize is a cooperation between the Culture Department with the Kulturnetzwerk Neukölln e.V. and is supported ideally and financially by the city and country Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH.
More than 130 artists: Inside who live or work in Neukölln, have applied for this year's art prize, seven of which were nominated by a five -member jury. The prices are endowed with a total of 6,000 euros, with the first place 3,000 euros, the second place received 2,000 euros and the third place 1,000 euros. Nora Zender had the jury and the jury includes personalities from the art and cultural scene. In addition, a purchase price of the city and state of Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH is awarded in shape. The exhibition of the nominated and the three selected award winners: Inside, open on February 16, 2024 and can be viewed in the gallery in the hall building until May 12, 2024.
The event recognizes the large number of studios and art rooms in Neukölln and focuses on the multi -layered production and special quality of the works of Neukölln artists: inside. District City Councilor Karin Korte is impressed by the diversity and quality of the submitted work and is looking forward to the exhibition in the gallery in the hall building. The support of the city and state of the Wohnbauten-Gesellschaft mbH is also highly emphasized.
The exhibition in the gallery in the hall building can be viewed from February 17 to May 12, 2024.
