Neukölln calls for former pool doctors for applications
The district office Neukölln has started an initiative to persuade former pool doctors of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Berlin to apply for free doctor's offices in the district's public health service. Specialists in psychiatry, public health and doctors with appropriate professional experience are particularly sought. The health city council Hannes Rehfeldt emphasized that the public health service was an important pillar of the city's medical care and that employees in this area could make a real difference for the people of the district. He also emphasized that the Neukölln health department could score with flexible working time models, compatibility of family and work and regulated working hours, which could be particularly interesting for the former pool doctors, which were previously used for night shifts in on-call duty. It was also pointed out that there is a specialist allowance, extensive recognition of existing professional experience and regular training opportunities.
The background of this initiative is a judgment of the Federal Social Court, according to which doctors who work as a fee can no longer be used for the on -call service of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians. These so -called non -contract doctors are therefore subject to social security contributions and are too expensive for on -call duty. So far, no legal change has been made that would enable the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians to offer the on -call duty to the usual extent.
The district office Neukölln sees this situation an opportunity to win former pool doctors for public health service and hopes that they will apply for the vacancies in the Neukölln health department. Concrete tenders of individual bodies are published regularly to address interested doctors.
In the following table, some of the open spots are listed in the Neukölln health department:
| Job name | Specialist | Required qualifications |
| ———————————————— | —————————————————- |
| Senior doctor | Psychiatry | Specialist recognition psychiatry, professional experience in psychiatric institutions |
| Official doctor | Public healthcare | Approval as a doctor, additional further training in public healthcare |
| Pediatric and youth doctor/pediatrician | People and adolescent medicine | Specialist recognition of pediatric and adolescent medicine, professional experience in pediatric care |
The district office Neukölln hopes that the initiative will be successful and that the district's public health service can be further strengthened by the gaining of experienced doctors.
