New city district in Lichterfelde: Construction work will start soon!
construction preparatory measures for the Housing Project Lichterfelde Süd have started. After approval of a building planning law for up to 2,500 apartments, including schools and parks, the first steps take shape to create the new city district. These preparations, which will take about one and a half years, mark the start for further construction activities. Initially, multi-storey residential buildings are planned at S-Bahnhof Lichterfelde Süd, followed by a new town square with residential and commercial buildings. In the second construction phase, a primary school with a sports field is to be realized.
District City Councilor Patrick Steinhoff emphasizes that residents should be informed about the developments in good time in order to avoid surprises during the work. The managing director of the Groth Group, Thomas Groth, is pleased about the start of the construction site facility and announces that the development measures are carried out as planned. The new district should not only offer urgently needed living space, but also other infrastructure such as kindergartens and parks. Further information is available from the Groth Group, as in a report on www.berlin.de
