"OKF-local control trip": New Talk Podcast now in the ARD Audiothek

Berlin (ots)-The ARD Audiothek presents a new talk podcast entitled "OKF-local control trip", which is produced by Fritz from RBB in cooperation with the dpa. In this podcast, the moderators Lilly BlueDszun and Jakob Springfeld spoke with prominent representatives of Generation Y and Z about their East Germans. Funny and thoughtful memories of growing up in the new federal states are shared. The podcast is available from today, July 18, 2024, and will be expanded every week by a new episode.

The term local control, or OKF for short, describes spontaneous driving around without a firm goal, typical of the youth in the east. This trip is accompanied by music, food and hanging at various locations such as bus stops, petrol stations and supermarket parking spaces. Lilly BlueDszun and Jakob Springfeld take the audience on a mental journey to the most important stations in the home towns of their guests.

The first discussions revolve around topics such as the dating opportunities in the "Schwapp" swimming pool in Fürstenwalde, the "Influencer Fahrschule" in Gera, first club visits to Rostock and personal meanings of the term home. Accompanied by suitable soundtracks and favorite snacks of the guests, the podcast offers a unique insight into the life between prefabricated buildings and pony farm in the new federal states.

lilly BlueDszun, grew up in Ludwigslust and living in Berlin, is a well-known political influencer who continues to work for the east. Jakob Springfeld, born in Zwickau, is an author and actively campaigns against right -wing extremism. Both see the possibility of presenting a multifaceted picture of East Germany in the "Okf" podcast.

The first two episodes of the ten -part podcast are now available in the ARD audio gauge. New episodes are published weekly, always on Thursdays. A great opportunity to learn more about life in eastern Germany and the experiences of the young generation.
