New construction work in the Wischbereweg: Information event for residents planned
In Heinersdorf there is an important construction project that is supposed to restrict the traffic in the Wischbergeweg. The road and green space office (SGA) plans to prevent the connection from wiping to Malchower Straße in order to stop the through traffic of motor vehicles. Instead of a direct access from Malchower Straße, access to the Wischbereweg will only be possible from Romain-Rolland-Straße or Rennbahnstrasse. This converted the wiping clay on Malchower Straße into a dead end that should continue to be passable for pedestrians and cyclists.
The need for this conversion results from numerous complaints from residents who suffer from heavy through traffic. In addition, the district council of Pankow (BVV) approved this project to improve the situation.
District Councilor Manuela Anders-Granitzki invites all affected citizens to an information event that will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the street and green space office at Darßer Strasse 203 in 13088 Berlin, room 224. The aim of this event is to give residents the opportunity to express their concerns and concerns and to discuss directly with those responsible.
To make it easier to plan the event, the SGA asks everyone interested to register by e-mail by September 5th at sga.allgeme@ba-pankow.berlin.de. It is recommended to participate in good time to have the opportunity to influence the upcoming construction work.
