New partnership between Berlin and Kyiv: Cooperation for peace and international understanding

The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, recently announced that a partnership between the Kiev and Berlin districts was received. This partnership aims to promote the exchange of knowledge, resources and expertise in various areas and to actively contribute to civil society.

The agreement, which was ratified at the beginning of March, includes the organization and procurement of material and equipment to cope with the consequences of war, the promotion of civil society activities and the exchange as well as the initiation of joint projects between the administrations of the partner districts.

District Mayor Stefanie Remlinger stands behind this partnership and emphasizes the importance of filling them with life and making them an example of international encounters and international understanding. In the current Situation in particular, she would like to set a clear sign of peace and position herself against the war of aggression in Russia.
