Kieztreff Berlin: Current topics and measures against homelessness

Dear neighbors and interested,

A fresh wind pulls through the neighborhood! The district councilor for urban development and facility management, Ephraim Gothe, cordially invites you to the neighborhood discussion on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Kieztreff Leipziger Straße 58. All residents and initiatives are welcome to discuss current topics in the neighborhood on a cup of tea.

A central topic of discussion will be homelessness, especially the increasing number of homeless people around Alexanderplatz and on the fishing island. Furthermore, the development of Leipziger Strasse and the planned improvement of the quality of stay in the region is discussed. Another focus is on the future design of the fishing island and the Mühlendammbrücke.

At this event, the group management of the team of the mobile social work of the Middle Social Work will also be present in order to talk about current topics together with the participants. There is also an outlook for everyone interested: the next neighborhood walk is for November 14th. planned from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Osloer Straße district region.
