KIA program 2024: Jury recommends 22 projects for performance bonuses
The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, informs about the results of the cross-divisional jury to award the performance bonuses as part of the KIA program for children's, youth and puppet theater. This year, a total of 22 projects were selected, which are to receive a total funding of 87,101 euros. The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, informs about the results of the cross-divisional jury to award the performance bonuses as part of the KIA program for children's, youth and puppet theater. This year, a total of 22 projects were selected, which are to receive a total funding of 87,101 euros. The KIA program supports children's, youth and puppet theater as well as actors in the field of performing arts for a young audience. The jury consisted of representatives of the department of art, culture and history, the youth welfare office, artistic experts in the field of children's and youth theater as well as young people up to 25 years.
A total of 49 applications for performance bonuses for the 2024 KIA program were submitted, 22 projects for funding were selected. The award -winning projects were presented to the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion for the final decision.
The promotion of children's, youth and puppet theater is of great importance for the cultural diversity and creative development of young people. The financial support of these projects promotes the artistic examination of relevant topics for the target group and the participation in cultural events for children and adolescents is made possible.
