District office Mitte publishes update of the district regions profiles

The district councilor for urban development and facility management, Ephraim Gothe, has recently announced the update of the conceptual parts of the district regions profiles (part 2) for the ten district regions of the district. These profiles contain an overview of the respective districts, the goals and measures for the region and the topics of importance. The district regional profiles serve as a social space-oriented planning basis and were developed after a joint process with the offices of the district office, the district coordinations and the neighborhood management team.

The district office Mitte was the first district in Berlin, which in May 2014 decided to regions the district regions profiles for all 10 district regions. These were updated in 2018. In addition to district descriptions, the profiles also contain important features and key figures of the district regions.

The publication of the updated district regions profiles is an important step for future urban development and planning in the various districts. By determining goals and measures, targeted measures to improve the quality of life in the districts can be implemented.
