In the new season of the ARD success series "Charité", a fictional picture is also drawn what the everyday hospital life in 2049 could look like. Berlin in 2049: Temperatures up to 45 degrees Celsius in summer are no longer uncommon in the capital and affect people's daily life. The Charité presents a health reform with a new challenge: health insurance companies create a score value for everyone that forms the basis for treatment. However, the reformed medicine not only divides society, but also the workforce of the Charité. In these challenging times, the top researcher Maral Safadi returns to her old place of work and heads the Institute for Microbiology at the Berlin Charité. The first case of an unknown bacterium will challenge your research.
