But the position of party chairmanship is anything but a desirable job - because the left is fighting for its political survival! After the federal election, the poll values of the party are alarming - between only two and four percent! These numbers drive those responsible into madness and let them doubt the political future.

The emigration of Sahra Wagenknecht has only accelerated the decline - their split did not result in the hoped -for renewal, but let the party fall off and starve their voters!
And what has stayed with the few faithful? A year -old dispute has left deep trenches. The new boss van Aken called "No more Zoff!" From what caused a modest applause in Halle - but is such a call really enough? What the left one absolutely needs are not only words, but also deeds!

in East Germany, once the party's backbone, disappears the membership base rapidly, and most are due to age. Young faces are added, but they are far from enough to fill the empty places! So the challenges are enormous. Nevertheless, there is a silver stripe on the horizon - the list of topics that are important for voters is long. Rising rents, social inequality and a dilapidated health and care system offer plenty of material for left-wing politics!
People are looking for social security and have a growing interest in these topics. It is more urgent than ever that the Left Party finally takes up the immediate wire to the electorate! From Monday it starts - the members will ring at hundreds of thousands of doors, hoping to regain the lost trust! In this way, Nam Duy Nguyen 2024 campaigned for his direct mandate in Saxony and secured the Left Party to re -enter the state parliament. A copy of the example!
No more with the skelet and back to the voters! But will that be enough to pull the left out of the crisis?
